About Margot
Rooted in tradition. Guided by the body. Devoted to elevating consciousness.
I have been drawn to questions of consciousness, healing, and the unseen world from a young age. I grew up immersed in the mystical tradition of Kabbalah and spent much of my early life studying dance, which gave me an intimate awareness of the body as a vessel for expression, memory, and transformation.
At fourteen, I was involved in a serious car accident that shattered my tibia and fibula and temporarily left me in a wheelchair. After multiple surgeries and years of chronic pain, I began practicing Hatha and Vinyasa yoga in high school. Yoga became more than a physical practice. It offered me a way to rebuild trust in my body, relate differently to pain, and experience healing through movement, breath, and presence.
At eighteen, I received a message from a spiritual teacher that my purpose was to help others through natural medicine. That experience set me on a path of study and practice that eventually led me to Bali, where I completed my first yoga teacher training in Vinyasa and Traditional Chinese Medicine–informed Yin yoga. During that time, I also apprenticed with a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner, deepening my interest in energy, embodiment, and holistic healing.
In the years that followed, I completed Reiki I and II training, became certified in sound healing, and began working with Franck Raharinosy through Soul Through Sound, leading sound meditations and yoga experiences throughout New York City and on retreats.
I later traveled to Mysore, India, where I completed my 500-hour certification in traditional Hatha yoga. That training deepened my relationship with discipline, lineage, philosophy, and the sacred role of practice.
Since 2025, I have been pursuing advanced graduate study in acupuncture and Chinese medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science. My work today brings together yoga, sound, Reiki, postural awareness, feminine healing, and East Asian medicine in service of greater alignment, presence, and consciousness.
